Thank you to all those members and readers of Fire & Risk Management who took the time to complete our readership survey, either through the post or online. Fire Safety in Residential Care Homes, Fire Safety in Schools, Fire Safety in Healthcare Premises and Fundamentals of Health and Safety.

Upcoming sprinkler rules webinar

Back in November, the FPA published a major update to the LPC Rules for Automatic Sprinkler Installations, which featured a number of supporting technical bulletin revisions, including new guidance on flushing underground sprinkler mains. Often referred to as ‘the Bible’ for sprinkler professionals and practitioners, the rules incorporate BS EN 12845: 2015 with supporting Technical Bulletins, which build upon the text of BS EN to provide a specification that is designed to ensure the highest reasonably practical levels of property protection, life safety and resilience to fire.

In the meantime, our congratulations

to Stephen Rossiter, who was selected at random from all the surveys we have received, and who has won himself an Amazon Echo!
