source code platform. Based on the Windows PC DAQ software IPEmotion, IPEmotion RT is the first OS- independent software supporting Linux 64-bit systems. The shared platform allows customers to use IPEmotion on their Windows PCs as well as the Linux- based data logger series.
KISTLER INSTRUMENTS LTD At this year’s EIS Instrumentation, Analysis & Testing exhibition Kistler will be demonstrating a new data acquisition system for the first time in the UK: KiDAQ, a modular and flexible platform with software that is easy to operate and fast to configure.
LAVISION UK LTD The StrainMaster Compact is a pre- configured system for optical deformation and fracture analysis. The system works according to the digital image correlation (DIC) method and consists of two cameras and an integrated LED illumination source in a handy measuring head. The StrainMaster Compact is designed for a fixed working distance of approx. 25cm.
MATCHID MatchID has successfully launched the world’s first generic, open, integration tool for DIC engines. The programming language interface, or PLI, allows for any Python-, Matlab- or .Net-based script to directly connect with MatchID’s DIC- platform. The corresponding app store makes it possible to share scripts, functions and programs with the MatchID community worldwide, sharing your code free, paid or licensed!
PCB PIEZOTRONICS The new model 9917C microphone comparison calibrator validates microphones over a broad frequency range in the field or laboratory. The 9917C offers simple, fast broadband acoustic calibration and can be used for both precision condenser and electret array microphones according to IEC 61094-5.
PROSIG Prosig has launched two noise and vibration products. DATS-solo is an ultra- portable, 24-bit, 4-channel capture system and DATS-tetrad is a mobile capture system with 32 analogue inputs for sound, vibration, strain, temperature, pressure, force, load, speed and CAN bus. Each comes with Prosig’s DATS measurement and analysis suite that supports noise & vibration measurement applications.

RDP ELECTRONICS LTD RDP will be presenting three new products at this year’s Instrumentation, Analysis and Testing event. The R360D is a rotary displacement transducer using a non- contact technology producing 4-20mA over 360° rotation. The MLH is a robust, high-performance low-cost pressure transducer aimed exclusively at original equipment manufacturing applications. RDP will also be introducing a new series of CANbus LVDT linear displacement transducers.
STRAINSENSE LTD The exhibition will feature a new family of inclinometers which includes analogue and digital protocols, dynamic high-frequency and integral display options. The family also includes AHRS and 3D compasses which complement the existing range of servo-based inclinometers/accelerometers, linear and rotary sensors.
Datron Technology and AB Dynamics will be demonstrating ADAS testing expertise outside the exhibition hall at Silverstone with the Flex-0 drive-by-wire vehicle controller in a specially equipped Kia Niro vehicle. The car will be used to demonstrate
advanced driver assist system (ADAS) testing capabilities for autonomous emergency braking with the vehicle recognising and responding to an obstacle in its path. The obstacle takes the form of an AB
Dynamics soft target, a re-usable collapsible representation of a pedestrian or cyclist.

VIBRATION RESEARCH UK The ObserVR1000 is a portable data acquisition and analysis recorder, which is fully autonomous and specially designed and engineered to provide reliable performance, accurate testing and user-friendly features. The ObserVR1000 comes in 4- or 16- channel packages that include microphone, high sampling rate, TEDS, and WiFi capabilities among many other options.
VIBES TECHNOLOGY B.V. DIRAC is the first software of its kind that enables engineers to build accurate FRF models from measurements. DIRAC ensures traceability of results and indicates the quality of the measurement. DIRAC works with the MK-II hardware from Müller-BBM and seamlessly integrates the use of virtual points, which allows the measurement of FRFs in 6-DoF and is compatible with finite element simulations.
