First homes take shape at new housing
The first homes are now taking shape at a new housing development in the village of Undy. Bellway Wales is building 144 homes at Greystone Meadows, off Elms Hill, with the first plots now released for sale. The new homes at Greystone Meadows will include two, three and four-bedroom houses, with a mix of detached and semi-detached designs.
A sales centre is now open on site, and visitors can browse detailed plans and prices for the first homes available to reserve off-plan. Sales Manager at Bellway Wales, Daniel Shone, said: “There’s a real need for new homes in Monmouthshire and we are helping to meet this demand with a wide choice of housetypes at Greystone Meadows. “We’re already seeing a great deal of interest in the new homes here, thanks to the development’s attractive village location and proximity to the M4 and
development in Undy New Homes
M48, which makes it appealing to a variety of potential buyers, including families and commuters. “I’d encourage anyone hoping to find their dream home in Undy to visit the development now, while there’s a great choice of properties available.” Outline plans for a wider development of up to 266 new homes at Rockfield Farm were approved earlier last year, with a planning agreement finalised which will see the developers making significant financial contributions to local infrastructure and facilities as well as providing 25 per cent affordable housing. These include £800,000 towards adult recreation/ community facilities, £200,000 towards the Magor railway station project, £175,000 towards local public transport including improvements to the existing bus service and £175,000 for play areas.
