Dad’s Army is Marching into Sophia Gardens this July


T ere’s lots of waggy tails at Dogs Trust Bridgend as they announce the date of their annual fun day. Taking place at Pencoed College on Sunday 24th June 2018 from 10.30am to 4.00pm – this fun- fi lled day is great for the whole family and the rehoming centre is pulling out all the stops to make the event bigger and better than ever. positions available and is appealing to local businesses to get in touch to secure a spot at the event. T e team would also be extremely grateful for any donations of prizes for the raffl e and tombola. Rhiannon Chamberlain, Supporter Relations Offi cer at Dogs Trust Bridgend said: “Our fun day is a fantastic opportunity to meet local dog lovers and raise pounds for the homeless hounds in our care. T ere are all sorts of fun activities planned throughout the day so please come along and support Dogs Trust Bridgend, we can promise you a really fun day out for all the family!


“T e raffl es, games and stalls play a huge role in the day, and we still have a number of spaces leſt for stallholders at the event”. Highlights of the day include a have- a-go agility, a grand raffl e, a kids area, dog-friendly games including the return of Doggy Dash, and, new for this year, Temptation Alley. Your four-legged friend may even be able to win their very own rosette in the fun dog show! T ere will also be a variety of Dogs Trust merchandise available to buy on the day and delicious refreshments to enjoy. T e entrance fee is £3 for adults and £1 for children with under 5s free. For
