Fundraising evening in aid of KidsOut charity proves a huge success
Barratt and David Wilson Homes in South Wales were among major supporters of a recent black tie fundraising event hosted by Roy Noble, in aid of KidsOut. Te housebuilder joined local businesses for an evening at Cardiff City Hall last month, raising an impressive £20,000 for the children’s charity. KidsOut provides disadvantaged children across the UK with exciting memories to cherish. Trough giving hope
and building confidence in
young people, the charity aims to shape a better tomorrow for those it helps. “Tis is a hugely worthwhile cause, and I’m delighted we have been able to raise so much to help the charity with its vital work,” said Steve Williams, managing director of Barratt Homes in South Wales.
“It was a wonderful night with many of our friends, colleagues and associates - and I’d like to thank all those who attended for their excellent support. “Te amount raised through a special KidsOut Question of Cymru quiz, a silent auction and other activities is a credit to everyone involved. We are looking forward to continuing our relationship with KidsOut and collecting more money
for this
fantastic cause over the coming months.” Gordon Moulds from KidsOut added: “KidsOut’s Question of Cymru proved to be very popular, with 300 local businessmen and women attending. We would like to thank all supporters and guests for making the evening such a success.” For more information about KidsOut, please visit

A new showhome has opened its doors at a popular Cardiff development. Charles Church East Wales has proudly unveiled a stunning five-bedroom property for househunters to look around at its River Walk site, part of the St Edeyrn's Village development off junction 30 of the M4. Te development has been selling well – and Victoria Williams, sales director for Charles Church East Wales, said she expects the showhome to boost sales still further.
Victoria said: “We have been selling at this development since last summer, but this is the first opportunity for people to step into an example house to see the premium quality Charles Church offers. “We have had strong sales at River Walk and typically we see a sales spike when there is a showhome on site. People love to look inside a real building and imagine how it might look once they’ve decorated to their style and moved all their belongings in. “Our sales advisers would be delighted
