First houses reserved at River Walk development

The Regent The Bond

The Fenchurch

Almost 10 per cent of the new homes at a development in Cardiff have been reserved, just weeks after being released onto the market. The first properties have been released for sale at Charles Church’s River Walk development at St Edeyrn's Village in Old St Mellons, a stone’s throw from Cardiff Gate Retail Park.

Victoria Williams, sales director at Charles Church East Wales, said: “We’re delighted to be up and running with our exciting River Walk development. “We now have a sales cabin on site so househunters can come and talk to our advisers about the options available. “Unsurprisingly, we’ve seen strong

interest in these superb properties already. River Walk is in a very convenient location with junction 30 of the M4 right on the doorstep.” Charles Church East Wales is building a range of 88 four and five bedroom homes at the development, with prices starting at £359,000 for a spacious five bed Strand style house. For those who already have a property to sell, Charles Church operates a Part Exchange scheme.

Using the scheme, Charles Church will arrange for at least two valuations of a customer’s current property, agree a market price and then buy it. There are no estate agents fees or

marketing fees – and people can remain in their own property until the new house at River Walk is ready to be occupied.

Victoria added: “Part Exchange is a great way to take some of the strain away from moving house.” Charles Church’s sister company, Persimmon Homes, is currently building 1,020 new properties at St Edeyrn's Village, where a primary school, convenience store, café, allotments and community orchard will also be built.
