he Deutsche Yachten working group brings together around 60 companies involved in various aspects
of superyacht building and promotes understanding between members, ensuring smooth cooperation and the development of new ideas. The result is often innovative products, better workflows and world renowned yachts.
Design & Engineering The construction of a yacht is the synthesis of design, fabrication and the planning of functional systems with high aesthetic standards. The constructors and designers are at the beginning of every project and together with the future owner they create a unique yacht. The DEUTSCHE YACHTEN consortium brings together world-renowned specialists with complementary services and products, representing the full range of construction, design and consultancy.
Equipment & Propulsion German mechanical engineering is one of the world’s leaders in the industry thanks to its high-quality products. This is certainly true for the maritime sector, which is represented in our consortium by some of the world’s leading companies. Whether marine engines, propellers, onboard hydraulics or water systems: the quality of German products are in demand internationally and define the high standards of yachts built in Germany.
Shipyards Our group is represented by some of the world’s leading and most respected shipyards. In their entirety, they all realise the construction of yachts under the ‘Made in Germany’ seal of quality. Whether new construction, conversion or refit, the highest standards are met in all these areas - and thus represent what German superyacht building is known for worldwide, the construction of the finest quality yachts.
Service & Consulting Expert yacht and industry knowledge is the basis for a professional and personalised service that supports owners and their crews

Rigging & Sails The enormous forces acting on the rigging, fittings and sails of superyachts require special expertise in their design and manufacture. Software & Electronics Competent advice, integrative solutions and comprehensive service are offered by the companies at DEUTSCHE YACHTEN, which are active in the area of onboard software and electronics. Following the standards set by the classification societies, bridge consoles with fully integrated navigation and communication systems, the monitoring of all technical components, as well as software solutions, interior and exterior lighting systems and many other products and services are offered for megayachts.
