MARKET REPORT COMPACT PLANT continued

True Plant Hire on track with Hinowa

True Plant Hire, which is based in Wymeswold, Leicestershire, recently added a Hinowa TX2500 TraXporter tracked dumper to its fleet, supplied by Access Platform Sales (APS). MD Tom Macfarlane said, “It will be a very useful

piece of kit for moving material over particularly rough and unstable ground, or where low ground pressure is needed to protect delicate surfaces.” The machine is

diesel-powered and has a maximum load capacity of 2.5 tonnes.

Its driving seat can be swivelled through 180° so the operator is always facing forward. 01480 891251 www.accessplatforms.co.uk Volvo duo for D K Plant Hire

D K Plant Hire of Aberfeldy has added two Volvo compact excavators to its fleet, namely a 2.5-tonne ECR25D model and a 1.5-tonne EC18D. The ECR25D is the smallest zero swing model in the

Volvo mini range, and is powered by a 1.1-litre low emission engine, developing 21hp. It is available with a choice of short or long dipper arm, giving a reach of either 4.48m or 4.77m, and a dig depth from 2.67m to 2.96m. Both machines have automatic two-speed travel, shifting

gear from high to low according to the travel load. The EC18D also has a hydraulically extendable undercarriage as standard.
