MARKET REPORT STORMFORCE continued

HSC increases its range

The Hire Supply Company (HSC) has increased its Elite submersible pumps range by adding two ‘dirty water’ pumps capable of handling 7mm solids. The SPT500 2in heavy-duty model (pictured) is available in 110V, with or without a float switch. It has a 500W motor, offers a maximum head height of 12m and can handle 210 litres per minute. In its drying equipment range for this season, HSC is offering metal-

bodied quartz halogen infra-red heaters which only heat solid objects rather than the surrounding area making them suitable for emergency spot drying. The heaters will be available in 110V or 240V and are rated at 2400W to reduce transformer burn out on 110V units, and to minimise the potential to overheat sockets and plugs with 240V equipment. Also available is the highly portable EH1500 model which has a 1500W single element and is again offered in 110V or 240V. The HSC line-up also includes the Master range of electric fan heaters and indirect diesel models, and the company says it can now
