Highlighted on the PSD Groundscare stand was the brand new Eliet Profi 6 shredder. Eliet’s Gracienne Geenens told EHN that the machine has a new infeed chute design to accommodate branches fed in at an angle, and the refilling points for oil and fuel are easily accessible. The machine is only 83cm wide to facilitate access in tight locations and wheeled, tracked and road-tow versions are being developed.
PSD Groundscare unveiled the Eliet Profi 6. New from GreenMech is
the EVO 165D wood chipper, a 25hp diesel road-tow machine from the EVO line-up that also includes petrol and tracked models. Designed for more power, aggressive torque and greater throughput, the machine has a one-piece chassis for durability and a new safety bar system to minimise inadvertent activation.
Armorgard aroused interest with its StrimmerSafe Rack. It securely stores up to five grass trimmers and has a liquid-tight base to contain fuel or oil spills. The product is supplied flat-packed and can be bolted to a wall.
Products displayed by Barrus Industrial Engines included Kawasaki V-Twin petrol power units, including the FS730V EFI. This model has a maximum power rating of 23.7hp and is designed for tough applications such as on ride-on mowers, while offering reduced fuel consumption. An electronic control unit is fitted for fast starting and optimised running.
