Lift with Lissmac

Lissmac will display a range of electrically powered mini cranes, designed to meet demand

from construction sites using larger

stone blocks to create walls and other structures faster and more cost-effectively.

The LMK 400 TFE model has a radius of 5m, with a hook lift of up to 6m, and can handle blocks and other loads up to 400kg. A large slewing ring is incorporated to facilitate rotation, even under maximum loading. The LMK 400 TFE/DK has a slewing capability and a revolving tower drive for additional handling precision. The machines can also be operated by remote control.

New BGG hybrid

BGG UK’s range of generators and lighting towers includes the new LiON Lithium-ion hybrid LED lighting tower, claimed to offer ten hours of battery life per cycle and a recharge time of 2.5 hours. Designed to provide a comparable light output to a metal halide machine, the unit’s 1,500rpm diesel engine

can be used to recharge the battery pack during daylight hours and to run without engine assistance during the night, giving up to 60 days of autonomous operation before refuelling is required, according to the company. A range of super-silent diesel generators will be on show, including

trailer-mounted versions, some with quoted noise levels of 53dBa. Models are available with outputs of up to 1250kVA.

CPA to hold Open Meeting

CPA will hold an Open Meeting on the first day of the Show from 10.30am in the Jaguar Suite. Discussion topics will include the finalised work on Reducing Unintended Movement of Plant, and updated guidance being produced on Lifting Operations with Excavators.
