EXECUTIVE HIRE SHOW PREVIEW continued

Preparation Group tackles dust The Preparation Group will show its new

180 Grinder and 202DSLP Vacuum package for removing problematic materials whilst controlling and minimising exposure to dust. The compact 110V/240V grinder is designed to

tackle sticky compounds and powdery substances such as adhesives, bitumen and tar, and can operate in confined areas. It has a 2.5kw motor, a folding handle for transportation and a dust shroud prevents restriction of movement, connecting the machine to the 202DSLP vacuum. The machine is designed for high suction levels

and a Longopac bagging system so that airborne particles are safely contained. A built-in socket provides power for electric tools.

Ibix green machines

Diaber Benelux will promote the Ibix range of surface blasting equipment. The machines operate by using water, air and environmentally-friendly materials such as sand and limestone, which is also said to give faster results. The products are designed to be operated by one person and can be used to remove rust, remove graffiti, clean boats and restore furniture or building facades. The company says the blasting mechanism is particularly compact, facilitating operation in areas with restricted access, as well as simplifying transportation and reducing storage
