Richard Fairfield from E.T. Hire

In this company, we always keep our diaries clear for the Show. It provides a chance to talk to our main suppliers, to discuss any long term product ideas they might have, and to familiarise ourselves again with their existing product ranges. We also come away almost every time having seen something different or unexpected that we can then consider adding to the fleet. There may also be companies there

who would probably not contact us in the course of normal business. Add to that the chance to bump into old friends, and the whole event makes for a thoroughly worthwhile day.

Tim Smith of Brandon Hire

As a man of a certain age, I still use a paper diary. The Executive Hire Show is always the first entry in the new edition. Brandon Hire has a close working relationship with our suppliers and the Show gives me a chance to meet so many of them, under one roof, and in an informal environment. Without this event, it would take me months to get round everyone.

Our industry continues to evolve and I think it’s important to keep up with new developments and product innovation. The Show is one way to do this. Over the years, I’ve been particularly impressed that it’s never lost its edge. It’s lively and informative and adds real value, which is why I also use it as an opportunity to bring my senior team together.

” “ Peter Lewis from Kent Loos

I think the two most important benefits you get from attending the Show are the opportunity to look at the latest products and the chance to meet up with industry acquaintances. It brings everybody together. Although we serve a specialist market, there is always a lot to see that is relevant to our business, such as trailer components, pressure washers, branded stickers for equipment, pallet trucks and forklifts, as well as delivery vehicles. You also keep abreast of new regulations and other industry trends. I have made a lot of purchases at the Show in previous years, and I am looking forward to doing so again.

Rick Biddiscombe of Sydenhams Hire Centres

For me the Executive Hire Show is a must-go-to event. I have not missed one to date. It is the only opportunity to have virtually all our suppliers under one roof and have time to spend with them. It’s great to see their new products, discuss Show deals and plan our future purchasing requirements. It’s also good to meet up with your fellow hirers, some of whom you probably have not seen since the last Show. I feel the event always adds good value to our great industry, and I am really looking forward to February.

Paul Punnett from The Hire Shed

You’ve simply got to be at the Executive Hire Show. It’s the only

exhibition of its kind for our industry, and it’s the perfect opportunity to see and be seen. You can catch up with all the latest products and industry developments, as well as meeting up with other hire professionals. Why wouldn’t you go?

Josh Thompson, right, and Nick Evans from Gr8 Tool Hire The Show is a great opportunity for us to network and meet fellow hirers

from all areas of the industry, each with their own experiences within hire, and varying views and approaches to running their businesses. As a young and upcoming company, it is invaluable for us to gain advice and opinions from our peers, many of whom have been involved in the industry for longer than we have been alive! It also allows us to meet in person many of our suppliers that we have been dealing with throughout the year, and it is always nice to put a face to name. Putting ourselves in front of our suppliers allows us to negotiate better deals in the future and to take them up on whatever offers they may have at the Show.
