EXECUTIVE REPORT continued

Morris Site Machinery launched its new Halo anti-glare lamp head.

The unit has IP65 certification against water ingress and Morris says that the efficient spread of light from the Halo head, at an optimum 5m mast height, means that fewer machines can be required to illuminate a project. The company is assembling the product at the SMC factory in Gosberton.

BGG UK displayed two new lighting tower additions on its stand. The Bruno LiOn Light is a hybrid machine with Lithium-ion batteries as well as a diesel generator. It can be charged in four hours and the manufacturer says that the machine can run for up to 11 hours before recharging is required. LED lamps are incorporated and the mast extends to 9m. Fuel consumption is quoted as being 0.2 litres per hour.

The second newcomer is the Bruno Sitelight, which is available in road-tow and static versions. The machine has compact dimensions enabling up to 20 to be accommodated on a standard delivery truck, according to BGG.
