A new year sees Forums International and the rest of the country looking forward to making itself the best it can be

You thought 2019 was an interesting year. I suggest 2020 will be busy and even more interesting and challenging! When you read this Brexit “will be done”,


or should I say we will be on the road to a new era for the United Kingdom. I know that it is not what everybody wants, but we are a very resilient people and history has shown that we are at our best when we have a challenge. Simple to say, but we have some of the best


industries, industry leaders, and professionals in the world. We are inventive so now is the time to


show we can be back near the top as the country that delivers.


Developing people I am happy to say that, as a credit professional, I believe I have a prime job to do in helping companies and their people develop and hone the tools they need to meet these new challenges and make us the best. I realise that it is very much a question of


looking into the fine detail, but let us make the UK Team the best in the world.

break. After a very busy year we ended 2019 with a house and office move from Chesterfield to Congleton in Cheshire. I am not sure that I want to ever see another cardboard box again! Now almost settled we are ready to implement those new ideas.


Also, we are pleased to announce that we are bringing onboard some new corporate partners who I believe will bring extra added benefits to the forums and our members.
