ISSUE 165 October 2019
by Richard Hollis, Editor
LIKE Christmas, RWM takes an awful lot of preparation and set-up, and yet it goes by in a flash.
On the Skip Hire & Waste stand the show was a buzz of activity with a regular stream of new and regular readers, as well as many familiar industry faces. I went with a list of hands I had to shake and introduce myself to, but that went the way of the best-laid plans and I don’t think I got through half of them.
I was personally impressed, not just with the size and layout of the event (I have previously worked for a company that had to do exactly that and know how much work it entails) but also with the event as a learning forum. The speakers were top class and of course, it was the perfect opportunity to take the pulse of the issues that are getting our industry talking.
A huge thank you to everyone who made the show possible. Turn to page 22 for a more thorough show report.
As ever, please enjoy the magazine and don’t forget to follow us on social media – we always love hearing from you.
