Renby take natural route to innovation
RENBY Ltd have introduced their new natural-based product, Neutrapak: an energy-effi cient product to suppress waste processing, landfi ll, sewage treatment and animal rendering.
The Chester-based company’s effective and low cost odour control solution product is made with plant oils, which is effective both indoors and outdoors.

ust suppression systems involve equipment used to suppress or control dust created during
industrial activities, and ensure the air is clear. Dust suppression systems have a benefi cial impact on health and safety.
The natural oils in evergreen trees prevent us from smelling animal waste and decay in forests.
Renby’s Managing Director, Robin Travis said: “The idea came from just walking through the woods, which is full of animal faeces, decaying animals and vegetation, and yet you don’t come across foul smells.
“Through exploring, we found these
natural oils from trees and plants, which produce odour neutralising entities – essentially producing a balance. Odours occur naturally, so we thought the solution must occur naturally too.”
The Odour neutralising molecules begin to work immediately upon exposure to air and are released at a slow, steady rate. A Neutrapak provides 90-day effectiveness, but cannot be covered by snow or debris.
Although the Neutrapaks look similar, each package application is different and provides specific granules. The product’s mesh pouches are full of these granules, which produce natural chemicals to fight odour – reacting with the molecules through air flow. These discrete, easy to attach socks are designed to cover a treated area; normally positioned with two-metre intervals and are best applied close to the odour source.
The natural-based product requires no power or water, so it is ideal for use on a 24-hour basis at remote or difficult to access sites.
