THIS month we asked our readers to report on their best ever skip fi nds and we were inundated with replies. The discoveries included war relics, rare egg shells and tatty old furniture which netted the fi nders a mint.

Found some empty egg shells, all diff erent, sold on EBay for £550, some were rare also found an old battered chair with stuffi ng come out etc, sold for £2,000!

Found an old church Hymn board that sold for £300, 2 violins that have been valued over £1000 each, lots of gold chains and rings, a large solid Silver Award Cup and a WW1 British Bayonet.
