HARSH ITRunner Hooklift Trailer proved in Europe, new to the UK
HARSH have grown over the last 30 years to be the top all- round hydraulic equipment provider for the haulage and waste industries. This year, the York-based company are breaking into the agricultural market with the launch of their new and effi cient- heavy product, The HARSH ITRunner Hooklift Trailer.
Working in a similar way to a hooklift mounted to a commercial vehicle, the ITRunner allows users to load, tip and transport a multitude of diff erent containers – using just one chassis, one tractor, and one driver.

Manufactured in Italy, the ITRunner has been in production for a number of years. Over 1,000 units have been produced and sold into mainland Europe with the range spanning from 8-tonne all the way up to 30-tonne lift/tip capacities. Interestingly, the popular video game ‘Farming Simulator’ has adopted the product.
By eliminating the need to buy a complete trailer every time one is required, operators save money by only purchasing the containers. The cost of these containers are roughly a third of the price of a standard trailer, because customers don't purchase the expensive running gear, tires, brakes and suspension.
There are also benefi ts to using the HARSH ITRunner for typical daily operations. By leaving empty containers in the fi lling location (typically the fi eld headland), there is only a need for one tractor/ trailer combination to transport the full containers to tipping sites.
The HARSH ITRunner can also be utilised in terms of replacing a truck 8x4 commercial hooklift vehicle, which are not only very expensive, but notoriously hard to manoeuvre in tricky/ tight situations. The HARSH ITRunner is fully compatible with all commercial hooklift containers and is built to British C.H.E.M. standards, meaning it could be used in much the same way as a truck, but at a fraction of the cost.
