New Brother printer to respond to personalised apparel demand B


rother has unveiled the GTX300, a new hybrid direct to garment (DTG)


and direct to fi lm (DTF) printer designed to help garment decorators expand production capabilities and respond to growing demand for personalised apparel.


Launching across Europe, the Middle East and Africa on September 1, the compact industrial printer combines DTG and DTF functionality in a single system, allowing users to switch between printing directly onto cotton garments and producing DTF transfers for polyester, blended fabrics and other applications.

DecoNetwork adds Absolute Apparel integration for UK decorators

ecoNetwork has added an integration with UK wholesale apparel supplier Absolute Apparel, giving print shops, garment decorators and resellers a simpler way to add, quote and manage its products within the DecoNetwork platform.


The integration provides access to Absolute Apparel’s range of blank garments and accessories, including workwear, promotional clothing, T shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, polos, fl eece, jackets, hi-vis apparel and headwear. The update is designed to reduce manual product setup, allowing decorators to bring products into their existing DecoNetwork


workfl ow for quotes, orders, online stores, product mockups and approvals. According to DecoNetwork, the integration can help businesses move more quickly from customer enquiries through to production, while reducing administrative tasks involved in creating and managing products. For decorators already sourcing from Absolute Apparel, the integration provides a more streamlined way to sell and manage its products through DecoNetwork, while giving UK print businesses another supplier option for branded workwear, uniforms and promotional apparel.

Brother says the machine is designed to support shorter production runs, faster turnaround times and increased production effi ciency.


Key features include new Brother industrial printheads, high-speed, high- resolution printing, a 7in touchscreen, automated maintenance functions and software designed to streamline production.


The system also incorporates a White Enhanced Mode to optimise white ink coverage, while its compact footprint makes it suitable for businesses where space is at a premium.


Brother will support the launch with training resources and technical support as part of its ongoing commitment to customers in the garment decoration sector.


Fruit of the Loom to host next convention

ruit of the Loom will host the third DTF Convention at its European headquarters in Kaiserslautern, Germany, on Septmeber 24. Organised by the Akademie für Textilveredlung, the event will bring together textile fi nishers, print service providers and industry experts for a day of exhibitions, presentations, consultations and networking focused on DTF printing.


Following two sold-out editions in 2022 and 2024, this year’s programme will focus on effi ciency, costing, data management and production processes in DTF printing. Exhibitors will showcase the latest technologies, while expert sessions and one-to-one consultations will offer practical advice for decorators.


The event also forms part of Fruit of the Loom’s 175th anniversary celebrations. Visitors will be able to explore the company’s showroom, warehouse and production facilities, as well as assess Fruit of the Loom and Russell Athletic garments for decoration applications.
