esigned by GAAARD Protection in West Yorkshire, the Scaffshirt is the answer to the problem thousands of scaffolders and workers have battled for years.

The shirt has been carefully developed over a number of years to meet the highest safety standards. A European design right protected garment, the Scaffshirt features weight- bearing shoulder pads to provide support for the shoulder joints which need it the most when carrying heavy items. The padding alleviates pain, corrects the posture and gait of those who wear it and reduces injury. The pads – which are manufactured from 3D-sculptured EVA compression padding – sit discreetly inside a pocket on the shirt, which is stitched securely to the top of the shoulder. The pockets are waterproof and shirts are supplied with a pocket on each shoulder. In simple terms: the shirt is durable, is built to

The circular design represents our global footprint across six continents. The blue has been consistent with Adelco from the very beginning and it is important to keep that element of recognition as well as remembering our heritage. The new logo provokes a feeling of movement and

inspiration and is designed to work across both digital and traditional channels.” The rebranding includes a top-to-bottom redesign of the logo, graphics, communications and correspondence. Adelco’s new brand assets include a simplified, blue, grey and white logo, along with other visual communications that utilise simple, bold graphics to convey complex solutions in an understandable way.

A study conducted by Erasmas University Rotterdam concluded that a padded shoulder will prevent future injuries in those who wear it, after numerous case studies into the strength and protection the product provides workers. Furthermore, companies who have tested the product across Europe in countries such as England, Sweden and Ireland have all reported positive feedback after trialling it on-site. Working closely with established, well trusted distributors, the GAAARD Protection range lends itself perfectly to personalisation and branding to make your company stand out and look professional.

The Scaffshirt is also available as a sweatshirt, hooded top and hi-vis vest.

Henning Ohlsson, CSR and sustainability director, Epson Europe, said: “Our Green Choice report is about making the right choice for our future. The demand for greener products and services has never been stronger, and this is especially true of the younger generations that are looking ahead with genuine concern and alarm. Their passion for sustainability is forcing companies to make changes and this is a good thing. Brands that don’t share their values or fail to demonstrate their same sense of

urgency have no long-term future.

“Epson is fully committed to the SDGs. They are integrated into our mid and long-term plans; they are guiding us as a compass for our business and are setting the direction for all our sustainability actions. Our Green Choice report shows precisely and transparently how we are continuing to deliver on our commitment to a sustainable long-term future.”
