Focus on Dye Sublimation

Dye sublimation printing is increasingly being adopted due to its high-quality photographic results. It is currently gaining traction among promotional product printers due to its diverse application on a wide range of products. The market is expected to grow by 7% to 2025, so what better time to invest?

Epson A first 76-in large-format printer

The first 76-in large-format printer in Epson’s LFP history, the sophisticated SureColor SC-F10000 dye sublimation printer, was developed for the textile production market to answer the need for high productivity, speed and reliability. The robust design provides consistency, reliability, high-quality throughput, ideal for fashion, sportswear, home furnishings, promotional goods and soft signage applications.

The system runs at up to255sq m/hr and uptime is maximised through its bulk ink solution for 10 litre or three litre boxes. High quality results are assured by the four-colour pigment UltraChrome XD2 inks and four PrecisionCore Micro TFP print heads. Epson Precision Dot Technology blends three dedicated technologies for dye sub: new Halftone, LUT and Micro Weave and a new dryer enables less ink transfer to media reverse and wrinkle elimination. There are also operator-replaceable parts and ink system usability with an easy mount, ground based, waste bottle sensor. Media setting is made easy with loading levers front and back while auto-adjustment technology features an integrated RGB camera and advanced Auto Tension Control (Ad-ATC) ensures accurate and stable media feeding. Quick set up and simple operation is aided by a 9in LCD highly-intuitive touch panel.
