David Luke The most eco-friendly product yet
Could this be David Luke’s most eco-friendly product yet? In spring 2021, David Luke launches another schoolwear first when its shirts and blouses range officially goes eco. In addition to some improved design tweaks, each shirt and blouse will contain 3.5 plastic bottles, with the polyester content of each style 100% recycled.
Recycled polyester is almost the same as virgin polyester in terms of quality, but its production requires 59% less energy which in turn reduces CO2 emissions by up to 32%. But the innovation doesn’t end there. David Luke is proud to reveal a new milestone in its plastic journey with the introduction of 100% recycled plastic packaging on the new Eco-Shirt and Blouse range, which can also be recycled again.
