Adelco adds new CTS solution to range T
he Adelco InkPr600 industrial computer to screen solution is the latest system to be added to Adelco’s growing portfolio.
This machine is a high-speed, high-resolution industrial CTS imaging system based on inkjet printing technology, that directly generates and exposes opaque images on emulsion – coated screens with UV-blocking ink so that users can reduce the time and effort required for screen preparation. Utilising the advantages of higher-resolution inkjet technology, the Adelco InkPro600 has the ability to
print CTS images with richer details and smoother halftone transitions, which are superior to traditional fi lm positives.
The Adelco InkPro600 also features a high-resolution, industrial print head with 1,280 nozzles fi ring an extremely fi ne fi ve picolitre droplet at up to 50,000 times per second. The head is designed for quick customer-performed changeover when needed.
A built-in LED exposure unit is also included as standard.

VersaSTUDIO BN-20D
Equipped with high-defi nition print heads, the BN-20D can transfer onto an array of light and dark fabrics to produce a variety of garments. Paul Willems, product management and business development director at Roland DG EMEA, said: “Our compact, easy-to-use and affordable desktop products enable anyone to easily achieve high-quality outputs without needing specialist skills and know-how. “Direct to fi lm transfer is a new solution
T
that has only been around a few years but has the potential to revolutionise the apparel business. By introducing this solution under the VersaSTUDIO brand, we hope that more customers will easily realise new creative and profi table business opportunities. Besides working as a direct to fi lm printer, BN-20D can also be used as a cutting plotter for sign and heat transfer vinyl, which makes the solution highly versatile.” In addition to the effi ciency of the BN-20D, the ink used complies with Oeko-Tex, an international standard that guarantees the safety of apparel decoration, making it safe for use on children and pet clothing.

The new transfer inks are Oeko-Tex approved and designed to match the latest precision core print heads in relation to viscosity and temperature requirements to
guarantee smoother brighter print results. They are pre-degassed and available in user-replaceable one-litre bags for continuous, longer-run production. Pigment Inc CEO, Steve Richardson, said: “The Merch Factory positions garment and product decorators in prime position to acquire tailored DTF production equipment that enables businesses to expand the range of products that can be decorated in a compact easy to operate DTF setup.”
