Industry News Clothes2order acquires Fabryx C


lothes2order has acquired Fabryx, a web technology start-up that has built an online platform for clubs and teams to sell merchandise to their members and fans. Fabryx, part of Brilliant Tech, has been building and testing this platform the last 18 months.

The BIG Shows announces The BIG Wearables Trade Show for 2023

he organisers of The BIG Promotional Trade Show have announced the line-up of events for 2023, including the addition of the new The BIG Wearables Trade Show. The BIG Wearables Trade Show will have a focus on the printwear and wearables sector which will co-locate with the current shows. This is due to increased interest in this massively important industry sector. Showcasing many of the industry’s leading companies, the spring editions of the BIG Show exhibitions will feature more than 60 of the top suppliers of promotional merchandise, wearables and services from the UK, Ireland and Europe at conveniently located quality venues. The autumn events, titled The BIG New Products Trade Show, will major on the thousands of new products and ranges launched into the industry for this key selling period.

Now in their sixth year, visitors to these established shows will experience a comprehensive range of products and services providing the latest innovative ideas and marketing solutions available to the industry. The shows are trade only and designed to cater purely for bona fide distributor companies where promotional merchandise, printwear and wearables is the primary business; a strict door policy will be in place.


Visitor registration is now open online with the initial response being described by organisers as strong.

With 10 years’ experience in the screen printing industry, at SPW he will look after both the screen stretching department and Pantone mixing department. Any restretched or Pantone matched ink will be overseen by Mr Wright, ensuring the tension on the screens is just right and the colour matches the code provided. Mr Wright said: “As a screen printing enthusiast I knew as soon as I walked into the warehouse at SPW I wanted to be a part of the incredible team. “My focus will be running the brand-new screen stretching department where there has been an increase in demand for remeshed screens. We can turn old used screens into perfect quality remeshed screens in a variety of meshes and tensions providing quick turnarounds and brilliant quality to our many wonderful customers.”
