TheMagicTouch introduces a new desktop oven

F

or those looking to cure DTF transfers quickly and easily, TheMagicTouch has introduced a new portable desktop oven.

The oven is designed for consistent results when manually curing DTF transfers up to 50x40cm. It has a digital controller for precise settings of temperature and time. The curing process starts at the touch of a button and alerts to remove the cured powdered transfer film.

This new model with its integrated air purifier operates as a normal 220V appliance and uses a traditional base heating element as opposed to lamps or bulbs. This ensures even heat distribution across the transfer with reduced curing time and lower temperature requirements. The portable ovens have also proved popular with DTF users using existing automatic finishing units as the oven allows short-run and samples transfers to be produced quickly and very cost effectively.

A S

tratsys has launched a direct to garment solution for the J850 TechStyle printer, which looks to redefine the future of personalised fashion and sustainability. The DTG solution is ideal for customisation and personalisation by enabling the application of full colour multi-material 3D print directly on fully assembled garments of various fabric types including denim, cotton, polyester, and linen. It allows fashion brands to facilitate personalised and bespoke designs for customers, including the ability to tailor 3D prints according to individual preferences, sizes, and styles. Zehavit Reisin, senior vice president commercial solutions, Stratasys, said: “Many brands are limited in how much they can mass produce denim clothing, while maintaining a level of

personalisation that has meaning to the wearer.

“We are giving brands the opportunity to do something remarkable, to bring more character to their clothing line, while pushing a more sustainable business practice that appeals to multiple audiences across the consumer spectrum.” The DTG tray kit is available in two sizes.

mess-free operation. Supplied as standard are two interchangeable cartridges, each of which can hold approximately 1.4 kg of adhesive powder, for quick and clean refills. The coating cabinet accommodates film up to 406 to 508 mm, and features an adjustable timer.

The compact D-100 dryer with 46cm wide conveyor allows adjustment of temperature, belt speed and heater height to cure DTF film at high rates. An integral exhaust hood removes moisture and fumes for operator safety, which is especially critical in confined spaces typical of many DTF shops.
