and a first Sunday session. We expect these changes to make it an even more valuable experience for visitors and exhibitors. We have seen first- hand how visitors appreciate coming to exhibitions on a Sunday. It gives them a more relaxed opportunity to take in the event.

Event director, Tony Gardner, updates the industry on the upcoming Sign & Digital UK and the synergies between the event and P&P LIVE!
T
here is so much to look forward to this February! It’s fantastic that such leading names in the industry are investing the time and effort to have stands at each show, helping visitors better understand the opportunities there are to increase their revenue and profitability in each market. The floorplan for the event is already taking shape, with some of the biggest names in the industry confirming their stands, including Roland DG, Epson UK, Premier Paper, Mutoh Europe, Vivid Laminating Technologies, and Quality Print Services. More exhibitors are in the process of signing up with a number returning to the show after a period of absence, and there will be a host of companies from across the sign and display industry ready to inform, entertain and meet with visitors. There are some changes to the show in 2024, including co-location with Printwear & Promotion LIVE!

As well as a hall full of great exhibitors, demonstrating and unveiling the very latest in sign-making and large format printing and finishing technology, SDUK 24 will be hosting some great features, including:
• The Sign Studio
Whether you are a vinyl veteran or just setting out on your vinyl adventure, The Sign Studio is a must-see for visitors at the show this
year. There will be daily live demonstrations and practical workshops hosted by experienced sign-maker Paul Hughes.
• Explains Lounge and Sign Surgery (hosted by ISA UK). The Explains Lounge will host a full programme of presentations and panel discussions in a theatre-style environment designed to engage, inform and inspire. We will bring
We expect these changes to make it an even more valuable experience for visitors and exhibitors
together experts in the industry to present on the topics that are most important to sign-makers and print companies. The sessions include: - How sign-makers can win more business with textile, garment and promotional printing. Meaningful guidance and expert advice on the key issues in sustainability and their practical application.
- Women in Sign and Graphics returns with a new focus and update. - The power of learning – hear from the people who are creating apprenticeships and academies aimed at encouraging more young talent into the industry
We bring the latest technology trends in wide-format printing, cutting, finishing and software directly from the manufacturers and experts that are driving them.
With a large crossover in terms of
sign companies moving into textile, garment and personalised product printing and print companies moving into sign-making, several exhibitors have taken the opportunity to be represented in both halls.
Indeed, for example Phil McMullin, head of sales, Commercial & Industrial, at Epson UK, remarked to me that: “Epson is focused on signage and textile so for us, the merger of the two shows is perfect”.
Likewise, several companies within the sector have been calling for this co-location for many years, including Roland DY EMEA and Grafityp, so the added synergy will enhance both events and we encourage delegates to explore both opportunities as one of the foremost dates in the diary for 2024.
