Making Waves: What’s Next for Hafema Water Rides

026 has been a good year for Hafema Water Rides. This year, a new Wild Raft Ride opened in the United States, adding another
installation to our growing portfolio of water rides around the world. We are also very pleased with the strong interest
we continue to see in new water ride projects. One thing that stands out in many of the enquiries we receive is that parks are becoming increasingly specific about the experience, capacity and target audience they are looking for. This is particularly noticeable with flume rides. Two years ago, Hafema introduced the Mini
Flume in response to demand for a smaller flume experience aimed at younger visitors. At the same time, we have seen demand developing in the opposite direction. Parks considering a traditional
Log Flume are increasingly looking for higher capacities and more possibilities to incorporate special and more thrilling ride elements, without necessarily requiring the scale of a Splash Ride. This is where the Super Flume Ride fits in. The Super Flume Ride uses eight-person boats
with four rows of two passengers, compared to the traditional four-person in-line seating. The boats can also be equipped with passenger restraints, giving our engineers more freedom when developing the layout and its ride elements. Together with the Mini Flume, traditional Flume
Ride and Splash Ride, this gives us a broad range of possibilities to develop the right flume experience around the individual requirements of a park. And development does not stop with new ride concepts. Alongside our established rides and
well-known elements such as whirlpools, chutes and vertical lifts, we continuously look at new possibilities together with our customers. New ideas, changing guest expectations and the specific requirements of each project often provide the starting point for further developments. This allows us to keep adding new possibilities to our rides while building on technology and concepts that have proven themselves over many years. With several exciting projects currently in
development and more Hafema rides set to open in the coming years, we are looking ahead with confidence. While we cannot share all the details just yet,
we look forward to creating many more waves in the years ahead.
