ABOUT JOINT PROJECTS
Karin Stiksma is the founder and driving force behind Joint Projects. Her intrinsic motivation is building, solving puzzles and providing support. Values such as integrity, inclusion and cooperation are fundamental to her. Karin distinguishes herself with her combination of managerial experience, passion for inclusion and her background in leisure. Joint Projects is the recreation sector's leading consultancy specialising in accessibility and inclusion. The social enterprise advises on improving the broad accessibility of businesses in visitor attractions and residential recreation, both strategically and technically. It always does so in collaboration with rebels by experience, for existing and new leisure locations.

ABOUT BREDA UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES
Breda University of Applied Sciences is a specialist and international higher education and research institute, offering bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in fields such as leisure, tourism, hospitality, games and media, amongst others. In its education and research, BUas works on meaningful projects alongside global industry professionals. Part of BUas’ expertise is a research line on Experience Research & Design, focussing on enhancing knowledge on experience. The university’s Experience Lab develops measures that allow for studying aspects of experience directly from body and brain, in addition to more traditional measures such as surveys, interviews and observations.
