Ride Profile
larger animals and people. This trackless element is yet another memorable way in which the attraction enables visitors to become wholly immersed in Remy’s world. “Here at Disney, any time we create something
new, we bring together all available technologies, allowing us to apply them in new and different ways. With this attraction, making the ride vehicle come to life was important. We really wanted our guests to feel what it would be like to spend the day with Remy. The ride vehicles, and their seemingly random paths, provide an incredible new layer of surprise. Guests cannot see or tell where they are headed, and that helps keep them fully engaged in the story we are unfolding for them. The trackless system gives us something fresh and new each time guests ride.” Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is not the only
attraction at Walt Disney World Resort that uses trackless ride vehicles. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios both provide similar immersive experiences that allow guests to fully focus on what is happening around them. Back at Epcot though, Remy and his friends
continue to invite everyone to help them find food and have fun in their big little world. Now, who moved my cheese?
