Welcome to our latest issue! It’s a packed one - which seems only fitting as there is a hell of a lot happening across industry now that the season is well underway. And while it might only be the start of summer we seem to have something of a spooky theme going on in this issue. Our very own Susan Storey tells us why hauntings shouldn’t just be reserved for Halloween in her Park Hoppin’ column (page 5) where she checks out DarKoaster at Busch Gardens, and we head to Alton Towers on pages 28-29 to find out more about The Curse at Alton Manor.

For somewhat more earthly reading, take a look at our Park Profile on SeaWorld Abu Dhabi on page 26-27. Designed to be enchanting and educational in equal measure, this next- generation marine park is a first for SeaWorld outside of the United States - and it’s seriously impressive. Elsewhere in the issue, Susan Storey takes flight with a visit to Carowinds’ brand-new area, Aeronautica Landing (pages 36-39); we have more coverage on the epic Champi’Folies interactive dark ride at Le PAL (34-35); we talk with Technical Park’s CEO, Fabio Martini, in an exclusive interview (pages 47-48); and we have the latest on FECs in our feature for the month (pages 40-46).

Enjoy! Charlotte
