Disney Parks & Resorts unveils 10 fans to compete for title of UK’s biggest Disney fan

isney Parks & Resorts announced the 10 fans who will compete for the coveted title, UK’s Biggest Disney Fan. Hosted by Strictly Come Dancing star and Disney super-fan Janette Manrara, the challenges
will take place during the ultimate Disney holiday-of-a-lifetime – across Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and aboard a Disney Cruise Line Ship over the Easter break. To celebrate Disney’s 100th anniversary, Disney Parks & Resorts launched a
special competition on 30th January 2023 to crown the UK’s Biggest Disney Fan. From fans of Disney Parks, to Disney films or famous characters - Disney wanted to hear their story and why they want to compete for the coveted title, the UK’s Biggest Disney Fan. Disney Parks & Resorts has now announced that the 10 fans who will take
part in the ultimate Disney holiday over the Easter break have been selected and notified. The successful fans submitted their entries by sharing a 30-60 second video to social media, expressing why they want to compete for the title of UK’s Biggest Disney Fan. Every single competition entry video was reviewed by a special Disney committee and was marked against criteria including creativity, originality, on-screen presence and enthusiasm. One of the 10 selected fans, James from Staffordshire said: “When I was
told by Disney that I had been selected it felt like I was in a dream! To be honest, it still feels like a dream, and I dare say that even after this trip, it will still feel like a dream! But as Walt once said, “If you can dream it, you can do it” and I can’t wait to experience the magic in all 3 destinations and compete for the title of UK’s Biggest Disney Fan, I just hope that I can go the distance!” Alongside Staffordshire, the successful fans reside across the UK including
Lanarkshire, Kent, Bristol, North Yorkshire, Norfolk, Surrey, Bedfordshire, London and Devon. Along with their guests over the Easter break, these fans will take part in the ultimate Disney holiday. The holiday-of-a-lifetime includes special visits to Disneyland Paris, Walt
Disney World Resort in Florida and a sailing aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship. Over 10 magical days, the 10 fans and their guests will compete in 10 challenges throughout the Disney theme parks and on-board the Disney Wish, all for the chance of winning the coveted title of UK’s Biggest Disney Fan. Janette Manrara will join the 10 winners and their guests on their special
journey and host many of the challenges testing their Disney fan credentials along the way. At Disneyland Paris, they will unleash their inner hero and take on missions at Marvel Avengers Campus, before journeying to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, where fans will compete amid lands of endless enchantment, and exhilarating thrills, and finally, on an adventure like no other, with Disney Cruise Line around the Bahamas, on the Disney Wish. The final winner will be crowned with the title of UK’s Biggest Disney Fan
in front of Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. To commemorate the occasion, the winner will then receive a money-can’t-buy stay in the Cinderella Castle Suite, which is found through a secret doorway inside Cinderella Castle. Speaking on the competition launch, vice president of Disney Destinations
International UK and EMEA, Angelica Costantini, remarked: “This is a hugely exciting way for us to come together and share our Disney stories and memories during our 100th Anniversary year. We are inspired by the fans and families who have brought us into their hearts over the last 100 years and
