Industry Insider

2000, with the Asian market and in particular China developing which saved a lot of the market vendors from the American and European transition to a mature market slow down. And now of course, the Middel East market came on the scene with great promise and initial growth but suddenly apparently on hold indefinitely due to the recent conflict.

Matt: What are you responsible for on a day-to-day basis now Chuck: Today, I have transitioned from being responsible for the Sales and Marketing of the world market to now just the sales for Asia and Europe for MV Rides. The company growth meant this gradual transition was inevitable. Today we are hard at work developing the many IPs which the company purchased from Bill Kitchen. This includes attractions like the Polercoaster, G-Storm and other thrill attractions.

Chuck: Perhaps, the most interesting and rewarding project for me was the sale of the first-ever Wood Roller Coaster to China. The Chinese Market was in the early days of China becoming a real market for the industry This sale was a first for China, the MV Rides and myself as there were many challenges understanding how the market, Government approvals, and the way ways of local construction for a successful working relationship brought success. We obviously have done a great job with twelve MV Rides Wood Roller

Coasters operating in China and we continue to support the customers with our domestic team always available for the customer's support. And it never stops; there is always a new high. Late last year we signed a contract the with Magicland in Italy for the first wood coaster in Italy and it is a winner with two tunnels with an inversion between. The greatest satisfaction for me is this sale was in progress for seven years.

Matt: What should we be getting excited about when we think about MV Rides for 2026 and beyond? Chuck: The future is bright and exciting; we are constantly altering our direction to capitalise on the purchase of the Kitchen IPs and the ever- changing market. This month we will be introducing to the Chinese market at the Chinese Assoc. show and additionally to the Asian market at the IAAPA Asia show in June a new smaller Wood Roller Coaster with a new tracking system which enables delivery at a lower cost and an improved product. The Chinese market since COVID has transitioned with current growth

being in the second and third tier markets with smaller Parks and budgets. Consequently, we are seeing great demand for our new product offerings with contracts in negotiation. And we have never forgotten the original core business of MV Rides with new and exciting growth in the domestic markets with the attraction service and installation expertise in greater demand.
