Quick Fire Q&A with Clair Hain Jr., CEO - Great Coasters
Matt: How has 2026 treated Great Coasters thus far? Clair: 2026 has started strong for us. We are working closely with parks on new concepts, and our team has been traveling a lot for site visits and inspections. We value our experienced team very highly.
Matt: company this year? Clair: Our main goal this year is quality and reliability. We want every ride to run smoothly from day one. We also want to focus on long- term partnerships with parks.
Matt: Were there any surprises last year? Clair: O Supply chain challenges were still present. Some material costs stayed higher than expected. On the positive side, demand for wooden coasters remained strong.

Matt: Could you tell us about the opening of Colossus in Six Flags? Clair: Colossus was a very exciting project for us. It combines classic wooden coaster feel with modern engineering, and the reaction from guests has been very positive. We worked closely ride we are very proud of.
Matt: What other projects do you have in the works right now? Clair: We have several coasters in different stages of development - some are new builds, others are refurbishments.
