Industry Insider

Matt: What was t that led you to create the company? Jan: The real spark came when I was 23 and attended the IAAPA Expo in the United States for the first time. That experience opened my eyes to the potential of themed environments - how storytelling, design, and technical expertise could merge into something truly magical. From that moment, I knew I wanted to create a company capable of delivering that magic from concept to completion.

Matt: For those not in the know, can you give us the elevator pitch for what Jora Vision is and what it excels at? Jan: industry. We can step in as a creative studio, developing concepts, storylines, or master plans, or as a turnkey partner, designing and building the entire attraction ourselves. With our own 4,000 m² production facility, we can move seamlessly from design to fabrication, keeping the original vision intact. What sets us apart is threefold: 1. Story-driven creativity: Every project starts with narrative and emotional connection. 2. Cross-industry insight: We draw inspiration from theme parks, museums, zoos, retail, and cultural attractions to create something fresh. 3. Integrated execution: With design, engineering, scenic construction, and business expertise all in-house, we ensure creativity, quality, and consistency from start to finish. Our mission is simple: Create the Wow places where guests feel transported, where the real world disappears for a while, and where memories are made.

Matt: How much has the company changed since it started? Jan: We began as a tiny operation taking on local decorative jobs. Today, we deliver large-scale, technologically advanced attractions across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and beyond. Our team is larger, our skill sets are broader, and our projects are more

complex, but our creative DNA remains unchanged. We still approach every project with curiosity, craftsmanship, and the desire to surprise and delight our clients and their guests.

Matt: What does your day-to-day role involve? Jan: A large part of my role is deciding which opportunities to pursue and ensuring Jora Vision stays ahead of industry trends. I spend a lot of time meeting clients, understanding their ambitions, and translating those into actionable concepts for our team. Back at HQ, I focus on motivating our people to stay at the top of their game.

Matt: You work in many different mediums; do you have a personal favourite type of project? They can take guests on an emotional journey, surprise them, make them laugh, or even teach them something, all within a few minutes. I also love projects that merge education and entertainment. Designing

immersive experiences for zoos or cultural attractions can create a lasting impact, helping people connect with nature, history, or science in meaningful ways. This is not only limited to those kinds of projects. We have taken our experience from other elements and are now incorporating that in new product lines such as RemarkaBall which has changed the game of mini-golf.

Matt: Is there a single piece of work that you think best defines what Jora Vision is? Jan: great example of our approach. Matt: How did the first half of 2025 treat the company? What were your key activities in this period? Jan: It was a fantastic start to the year. We delivered a Smurfs-themed dark ride in Germany, an absolute joy to work on, and completed a family dark ride for Qiddiya in Saudi Arabia. That project, a major turnkey delivery far from home, went smoothly despite the logistical challenges. Demand for high-quality immersive attractions in both regions is definitely growing.

Matt: And what can we expect from Jora Vision over the next 12 months? Jan: Expect announcements on several completely new parks, dark rides, and tourist attractions. We will continue pushing creative boundaries, blending new technologies with strong narrative design, and expanding our international reach. None of this would be possible without the energy and talent of our team.

Technology and trends are exciting, but at the heart of every Jora Vision project is a group of people who genuinely care about creating something meaningful. That shared passion is what drives our innovation year after year.
