Working Together to Close Learning Gaps: How TLC LIVE Is Supporting Student Progress Through Online Tutoring
W
e know the pressure
schools are under. Expectations are high, resources are stretched, and there’s never enough time in the day. At TLC LIVE, we understand those realities – and we’re here to work with you
to support your students, not just with curriculum content, but with confidence, consistency, and care.
For over 10 years, we’ve been partnering with schools, local authorities, and virtual schools to provide personalised online tutoring that helps students who are struggling to catch up, keep up, and even push ahead.
Meeting Learners Where They Are
Every student learns differently. Some may need support rebuilding key skills, while others benefit from a quieter, more focused space to engage with their learning. We work with a wide range of learners – including those with SEND and children in care – offering calm, consistent, and flexible tutoring that respects each student’s unique needs and strengths.
We offer a variety of teaching models to suit all budgets and abilities, all taught by fully qualified, UK-based teachers. Lessons are tailored, carefully paced, and delivered online – at times that work for you and your students.
A Trusted Extra Pair of Hands
We’re not here to replace classroom teaching. We’re here to offer a helping hand – a flexible, proven solution that fits around your existing provision. Whether it’s extra Maths support after school, English catch-up for Year 10s, or weekly science sessions for a student in alternative provision, our tutors are ready to step in. Teachers tell us that having TLC LIVE involved frees up valuable time and gives them peace of mind that no child is slipping through the cracks.
Designed with Schools in Mind
Our service is simple to set up and fits seamlessly alongside your current systems. There’s no new tech to install, and we handle everything from student onboarding to progress tracking. After each session, we provide clear feedback so you can follow each student’s journey and see the impact. Most importantly, our approach is collaborative. We listen. We adapt. We stay in regular contact to make sure our support fits in with what’s already happening in the classroom.
Let’s Talk About What You Need
Every education setting is different. So, let’s start a conversation about what’s happening in yours. We’d love to understand your challenges and see how we might be able to help – even if that’s just sharing ideas or pointing you in the right direction.
