AWARDS SUPPLEMENT
ZOE NEILSON, SIDLAW VIEW PRIMARY SCHOOL NEW TEACHER OF THE YEAR
Thank you so much for this fabulous award. It is an honour and a privilege to be recognised for what I see as doing my job. I would like to thank my Head Teacher Kim Flynn and Depute Head Teacher, Kym Walker for nominating me and all my colleagues at Sidlaw View Primary, I wouldn’t be here without them. Teaching to me, is in my heart! To see children smile, laugh and achieve, is what makes teaching so special. Teaching is a vocation, and I feel grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of these amazing young people.
CASSERLY PROPERTY MANAGEMENT EXTERNAL ESTATE SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR
2024 has been an incredible year for the company. Firstly, our residential department were shortlisted as finalists for the 2024 ACE Awards in the category of ‘Managing Agent of the Year (1,001 – 2,000 Units)’ and then reaching the milestone of 100 Schools for our department. Our win at the Education Today Awards is certainly the “Cherry on top”. I am immensely proud of what has been achieved. Massive thanks goes out to Amie and the whole team for the hard work, dedication and consistency.
SENsible SENCO NEW START UP BUSINESS OF THE YEAR
“We are absolutely thrilled to have been named New Business of the Year 2024 at the Education Today Awards. This recognition is a testament to the incredible support and engagement we receive from thousands of school SENCOs across the country. Being nominated in three categories was already an honour, but winning this award is a moment of pride that celebrates the vital work we do with SENCOs and enable them to have a positive impact every day. Thank you to Education Today for this recognition and to the amazing SENCO community for your continued belief in and support for what we do. Together, we are driving change and making a difference in education.”
