ANXIETY IN ADOLESCENCE In a culture with higher pressures to succeed, 24/7 online presence, global instability and a constant bad news cycle, young people are increasingly struggling to know how to cope. With as many as 1 in 6 young people experiencing signs of anxiety, are you equipped to offer support? Anxiety In Adolescence not only highlights the


pressures that young people are facing today, but also key methods of support, including school- wide/organisation-wide and individual approaches, free downloadable resources and the skills to identify the signs of anxiety disorders. The


course also covers the area of exam related anxiety and gives practical advice around the transition from Primary to Secondary education.


SELF-HARM ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE Latest statistics reveal that nearly a quarter of 14 year olds self-harm. As professionals it’s likely that you will be faced with a self-harm disclosure- but how would you respond? Would you know what to say or how to confidently offer help? What support can your school provide? The Essential Knowledge course offers a


fantastic foundational understanding of why young people harm alongside highlighting ways to effectively encourage disclosure as well as the skills to confidently respond. It also features a section on Alumina- our self-harm recovery course, as well as a range of support strategies and resources you can use in your setting. For those interested in holding the course as an
