La licitación de las dos empresas está siendo preparada por el BNDES, y la SportBeting (lotería) debe ser creada dentro de la infraestructura de la Caixa y pasar como una iniciativa privada de juegos de azar a inicios de 2018. La venta de Lotex ya ha sido ingresada en las cuentas del gobierno como un ingreso excepcional para cerrar el presupuesto de este año, mientras que la venta de SportBeting ya es parte del presupuesto de 2018.
La Caixa seguirá administrando las loterías que hoy funcionan, tal como la Mega-Sena. Las dos empresas de lotería subastadas tendrán al Banco estatal como socio, con una participación minoritaria, que establecerá el gobierno antes de su venta.
El precio de las loterías en la subasta dependerá de cuál será la
participación de la Caixa en la operación. La principal ventaja para las arcas públicas, sin embargo, no está en el valor de la venta sino en los ingresos adicionales que se generarán con el tiempo.
COLOMBIA - Baloto generará 30% más de recursos para Salud
Coljuegos, la empresa estatal reguladora de juegos de azar en Colombia anunció en Bogotá con fecha 19 de abril de 2017, que desde el 20 de abril entraron en vigencia una serie de cambios al juego Baloto Revancha que les permitirá a los colombianos obtener un mayor número de premios, un monto acumulado superior a años anteriores y un incremento sustancial en los recursos que Coljuegos recauda para financiar la salud de los colombianos.

COLOMBIA – Baloto will increase revenue by 30% for Health sector
Coljuegos, the State-owned company that regulates gaming in Colombia, announced in Bogotá on April 19, 2017 that from the date of the changes to the lottery game that came into effect the following day on Baloto Revancha, Colombians will be able to win a greater number of prizes, an accumulated amount higher than previous years, and a substantial increase in financial resources that Coljuegos collects to finance the Colombian Health sector.

Only in the last five years the contribution in terms of VAT amounted to 266.464 million pesos”, added Perez Hidalgo. “With this advance we also seek, of course, to place the game in tune with the big lotto games in the world”.
