resources, and improving security – which in turn can increase revenue. The first installation of an extensive roll out
program took place recently at the iconic STRAT Hotel & Casino – the first Las Vegas property to feature Qorex. Here, the casino chose a full 6-Player Qorex circular carousel with a Saturn Auto Wheel set in a podium, complete with HiLite Orbit LED ring, and HiLite Luna overhead LED signage. The Qorex Circular Carousel has created an eye-catching feature on the gaming floor and has already attracted a lot of interest with players. The Qorex range provides unlimited configurations through its modular design that can be networked and configured anywhere on the gaming floor, offering players the experience of a comfortable, individual and more personal terminal or the exciting sociable carousel or stadium environment. There are two Qorex terminal options to choose from, featuring either a 23” or 27” widescreen HD display and both are ergonomically designed with a space- saving footprint, yet packed full of features to entertain players. orex is the first fully in-house designed and developed electronic gaming solution from TCSJOHNHUXLEY and provides a complete package for operators looking to create a striking centrepiece on their gaming
floors, as well as generating excitement and entertainment for players. The popularity of electronic gaming has been
steadily growing in the US prior to the pandemic, (although very much established in Europe and Asia). However, now more so than ever, operators are seeing the benefits ETGs provide by maximizing floor space through unlimited flexible configurations, optimizing

an easy to navigate touch-screen interface that allows the player to swap easily between multiple games of live or RNG options (such as the Saturn Auto Wheel) for Roulette, Sicbo and Baccarat. Games can also be linked with live camera feeds of dealer assisted games from around the gaming floor with the ability to turn the camera on and off, as well as the unique feature of moving the live wheel image around the screen by dragging it to a position that suits the player. For further flexibility, Qorex is easily configurable for various player tracking and SAS systems, bill validators and ticket printers.
The heart of the system
Qorex Terminals are the heart of the system, but operators are finding the ease of choosing a complete package an extremely attractive option. Qorex can incorporate high impact LED signage, custom designed podiums, drinks shelves, phone charging
spots and back panels that have the option to include custom designs or logos. Launched at ICE 2020, the Qorex HiLite
System is a range of products featuring striking LED displays and podiums that connect to the centralized system for full synchronization of the game. Like the rest of the system, Qorex HiLite is modular in design, and is fully flexible and able to create almost unlimited layout configurations that enhance the user experience while providing a stunning centrepiece and attraction on the gaming floor. Completing the package is a range of
accessories that provide various options and configurations through connector / player shelves as well as striking LED illuminated back and side panels that can be customized with a casino’s logo or design. Ergonomically designed player shelves double as spacers in between terminals that allow them to be positioned at angles of 5, 15, 35 and 45 degrees, and feature the same LED lighting as the Qorex terminal to provide a seamless look. Further player features include optional cordless charging spots for mobile devices along with drink holders to prevent spillages. The development team are constantly looking at ways to improve the user experience but are also aware a product’s success is based on back-end improvements too. Recent refinements have seen a range of new features ‘under the bonnet’, which are designed to assist with installation and maintenance. The HiLite Podium has been redesigned so that, though it looks similar on the outside, it now provides increased capacity for the plethora of electronic equipment required inside the podium. There are now two sets of double doors (front and back) for easier access and space for three servers, network switches, power distribution unit, media player, as well as the option for rack-mounted fans. In addition, there is a new mechanism to lower and raise the Saturn Auto Wheel easily and safely for servicing and swapping out, as operations require. The podium is now topped off with one piece of flush fit 8mm thick safety glass, for a seamless finish whether it be in a carousel unit or freestanding configuration.
