Gary Platt donates hundreds of masks to Navajo Nation; invites industry to join the fight

Euro Games Technology makes a start in Czech Republic

Gary Platt Manufacturing has donated hundreds of masks to Seeding Sovereignty’s mask drive to help multiple Native American communities in New Mexico. The Navajo Nation has been

disproportionately affected by COVID-19, reporting 2,304 cases per 100,000 people. By way of comparison, the State of New York reported 1,806 cases per 100,000 people, according to legitimate sources. On its website, Seeding Sovereignty

has a page dedicated to COVID-19 response as well as a call for mask donations at https:// seedingsovereignty.org/mask-drive. The site reads, “Masks offer significant protection against the spread of COVID-19 in Indigenous communities especially at risk in remote and underserved regions.” Gary Platt responded, sending

hundreds of masks to Seeding Sovereignty, along with a call for the gaming industry to join the fight. CEO Joe Esposito said, “We recently converted part of our Reno-based

factory to create face masks, and we are honoured to be able to help Native American people in need. We hope the gaming industry will join us in this ongoing fight.” Previously, Gary Platt donated a

generous supply of masks to Renown Regional Medical Center. Gary Platt is also offering mask sales

to any business that may be in need. The masks are 100% cotton, washable, and reusable. Inquiries and order requests can be

directed to (800) 969-0999 or by email at info@garyplatt.com.

Euro Games Technology is becoming part of the Czech gaming industry, opening an office in Prague with sales and service that will cover the country, including the border regions that are considered a relatively different segment in the local market. The new office is a result of the cooperative efforts and expertise of two practitioners in the gaming field with over 15 years of experience – Ivan Grigorov and Adam Vajdak, both of whom managed their own casino companies before stepping into the role at EGT as General Managers of the Czech office. Leading a team of 13 professionals, they will endeavour to keep EGT’s high standards and to fulfil their mission to provide a top range of gaming content and products, aligned to local specifics. “The regional gaming market is well developed and saturated and all domestic manufacturers have already established a good image,” shared Mr. Vajdak. “Compared to some other countries though it lacks enough presence of world-recognised brands where we find our potential. Gaming regulations and requirements are very strict and particular and are a serious entrance barrier for all new providers, but we are accustomed to fulfilling exacting criteria and are confident that will be able to achieve satisfying results in the next several years. For this purpose we will mainly rely on EGT’s main R&D department with which we cooperate closely in tailoring our products to local specifics, especially when it comes to software. Our major advantage is the vast experience we have accumulated from our global operations, the speed of service we achieved and the good knowledge we have first-hand for our customers and players, as Mr. Grigorov and I have been in the casino business for many years.”
