Quooker Front wins at Red Dot Awards 2023
B
oiling water tap manufacturer Quooker has been awarded a Red Dot Design Award for its Front tap.
Delivering hot, cold and boiling water, the Quooker Front tap has a
sleek and minimal tubular aesthetic, bringing contemporary flair to any kitchen. Unlike previous models, it features a hot and cold-water lever on top of the spout, giving it an ergonomic and distinctive look. Inspired by an original design that Quooker’s founder, Henri Peteri,
created in 1976, the Front tap features Quooker’s patented double push and twist mechanism for boiling water at its base. Compatible with any Quooker tank, the Front tap can also be combined with the CUBE, an accessory for sparkling and super chilled water that enables more sustainable consumption, becoming the tap that does it all. The Front is available in Matt Black and Stainless-Steel finishes. Commenting on the win, Quooker’s Managing Director Stephen
Johnson states, ‘The Red Dot Awards is one of the world’s largest and most prestigious design competitions. As a result, the Red Dot label is one of the most sought-after marks of quality for good design. For Quooker Front to have received this industry commendation of quality and superior design is exceptional. We are incredibly humbled and proud as a company and will continue to push the boundaries of innovation within this sector for years to come.’ For more information about the Quooker Front tap or to view the

n an era where environmental challenges take centre stage, the BMA Sustainability Awards 2023 stand as a testament to
the dedication and innovation of BMA members in environmental stewardship. As we approach the awards ceremony on October 10, set amidst
the lush ambience of the Carden Park Hotel in Cheshire, anticipation is mounting for a night that promises recognition for our annual sustainability champions and a chance to support the noble cause of the CRASH charity. BMA members have been hard at work, channelling their collective
efforts towards improving our environmental footprint. The awards, categorised to reflect the multifaceted nature of these endeavours, offer a comprehensive view of these professionals’ impact. The array of categories that spotlight the remarkable initiatives undertaken includes the Carbon Reduction Award, the Water Efficient Innovation Award, and the Open Award. From the submissions received already, we know the high calibre of
initiatives and products will demonstrate the sector’s determination to exceed expectations. As part of the BMA Annual Industry Conference, the awards ceremony
provides a platform to honour these achievements. However, with limited availability, securing your spot is paramount. The event promises an evening of elegance and celebration, featuring a networking drinks reception and a four-course gala black-tie dinner. Attendees will also be able to participate in a raffle and auction, with all proceeds supporting the CRASH charity. As the awards draw near and places become limited, booking your
