The Future is Square with Westag & Getalit T
his April, Westag & Getalit UK will introduce several exciting new Getalit laminate decors and new thicknesses to their UK range. Compiled specifically for the UK furniture market, the focus of the new range will be dominated by Polypropylene (PP) square edged products.
The German manufacturer aims to raise the bar in the laminate worktop market by introducing 23mm and 40mm thick, high quality, Getalit surfaces with matching PP square edges in all decors and backed by their 10 year manufacturer’s warranty. The selection is complemented by the existing post formed laminate worktop range, now extended to include matching splashbacks and upstands from their UK stocks in Manchester.
Naturally excited by the new range, Tim Hibberd, Business Development Manager, reveals “This is Westag’s most comprehensive stock range change ever, committing to UK stock, products to fulfil the UK’s demand for clean sharper lines with a PP edged. We have listened to our customers and are now including back panels 4.1 x 650 x 13mm stocked for every décor”. He says “The range has been put together having identified a demand for sleeker lines to mimic the Quartz and Granite thicknesses. The thinner surfaces also extenuate the clean lines of the popular handle-less kitchens.”
Working in partnership with Westag & Getalit are North East Sheets & Panels Ltd (NESP). As a key distributor for Getalit worktops across the North of England and Scotland, NESP are eager to bring this new range to market.

• Colour matched splashbacks & upstands across the entire range - 4100 x 650mm & 4100 x 150mm upstands.
• Bespoke designs available ex Germany: factory finished radii / shaping / jointing and edging to your exact designs.
• 10 Year manufacturers warranty on all Getalit worksurfaces.
