Ideal celebrates its 40th anniversary with a new Reward programme

he UK’s leading bathroom distributor has announced the launch of its 2021 rewards programme for bathroom
retailers and merchants. Ideal Bathrooms, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, is
offering customers the chance to win a host of prizes every time they spend £1,400. Prizes include Samsung TVs, Nintendo Switch consoles, Love2Shop and Amazon vouchers and much more. For the 40th Anniversary Ideal Rewards, the distributor is also working
with sponsor Virtual Worlds to offer a 4D Theatre prize worth £18,000. To take part in the rewards scheme, customers must first be registered. Once registered, every time that customer spends £1,400, they will have the opportunity to play a prize board to win a reward. Customers will be shown their prize board on their microsite, which
consists of a grid of 16 boxes, eight of which contain prizes. Stewart Perry, Ideal Bathrooms’ Marketing Manager, said: “We’re very
excited to be launching such an amazing rewards programme in our 40th year. This is our way of thanking and rewarding our loyal retailers, as well as bringing a digital element to a standard competition – making it easy for everyone to get involved.”

Verona relocates its distribution centre to Doncaster

leading ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles to national and independent customers from its head office in Leeds, has moved its distribution operation to a new state of the art warehouse facility in Thorne to support the business in distributing stock to customers throughout the UK. A key player within the UK tile industry, Verona has enjoyed a period of
rapid growth over the last five years, winning numerous awards and accolades along the way, outgrowing its current warehouse space. At 106,000 square feet, the new distribution centre offers fantastic facilities and working conditions for the team, whilst providing a long-term solution that offers room for further growth, and allows Verona to operate more efficiently and hold additional stock. Philip George, Operations Manager at Verona, said: “As a business we
decided to relocate due to an increase in customer demand, and the need to meet future business requirements. Our new distribution centre will allow us to improve on our excellent level of service, and cater for all areas of the UK in the best way possible.” The business began a phased transition to the new site over the last few
months, with the distribution centre now fully operational. Verona’s head office remains at Project House in Leeds.
