Kbsa starts new year with new retail member


T


he Kbsa has welcomed in the New Year with another independent retailer joining the association. The new retail member, Sovereign Bathrooms is a premier luxury


showroom based in Winchester offering a fully managed, design, supply and installation service. With a reputation for outstanding service Sovereign offer customers a wide selection of bathroom products across all styles, as well as steam and sauna enclosures for those looking for a full spa experience in the home. Ami Fitzpatrick, Sales & Design Consultant & Accounts Manager at Sovereign Bathrooms says, “Over the past few months, we have been looking at joining a trade association which not only gives our customers peace of mind, but also offers us support, trading benefits and celebrates high quality designers – this is why we joined the Kbsa! “The biggest draw for us was the annual designer awards as well as


the industry specific B2C terms and conditions and consumer finance options.” Kbsa National Account Manager Allister Reed adds, “We are


delighted to start 2020 with a new member. We will be announcing a number of new services and benefits for members in the next few months which will help us attract more new members in 2020.”


New expansion for 2020 at Fern Doors Ltd


F


ern Doors have expanded their factory in Hoghton with an extra 10,000 sq metres to produce MTM Kitchen and


Bedroom carcasses. These are available in any colour where the board and tape are


available. They are made as a cam and dowel construction, with 18mm boards used all round, including the back panels. Full gables, concealed wall hangers, and fittings come with every pack. Blum soft close hinges come as standard. Kitchen cabinets are supplied rigid and bedroom cabinets are


supplied flat-pack for ease of transportation. Scalloped handles are available on internal drawer pack fronts (0.8 mm pvc-edged only) if requested. A choice of Standard or Premium drawer boxes are available in the bedroom furniture, with the box matched to the carcase for the premium drawers. There have also


been recent additions to the colour range for the Capri and Madrid doors, with matt colours now available. Plus, two new doors; Florence, a butt-jointed shaker-style and Verona, a mitre-framed door with 80mm profiles, available in the same ash grains, (except stone grey), and matt colours as the Capri and Madrid doors.
