Salamander Pumps to exhibit first-of-its- kind shower pump at KBB Birmingham

S

alamander Pumps, one of the UK’s leading shower pump manufacturers,

will be displaying its first-of-its-kind shower pump, EVE, at KBB Birmingham. The new shower pump has been designed for

those carrying out a bathroom renovation, to provide the ultimate shower experience. EVE is also designed to make product specification easy for merchant staff, installers and homeowners alike, by working in any gravity fed system. While water pressure in a home may not have

been so problematic before a renovation, fitting larger showerheads, such as rainfall showers, or powerful new bath taps can leave homeowners suffering with lacklustre pressure.

Aiming to overcome this issue of homeowners

splashing out on a stylish new bathroom, only to find that their new luxury shower doesn’t give the performance they desire, EVE is designed to boost and maintain shower pressure, even when other outlets in the home are open. EVE features a variable bar rating, which can be

changed with just the touch of a button to 1.5 bar, 2.0 bar or 3.0 bar, depending on the homeowner’s preference. The pump alsp uses a sensor to monitor the system water flow and detect any changes, while a brushless motor varies its speed to ensure a constant pressure and better shower performance. Not only this, EVE is the first pump on the

market to fit into both positive and negative head situations, without the need for a pressure vessel. The technology within the pump means that EVE eliminates the need for merchant staff, installers and homeowners alike to have to know everything about the home’s plumbing in order to choose the right pump. In short, if a home has a gravity-fed system, where there’s a hot water cylinder in the airing cupboard and a water tank in the loft, EVE will work. The pump has a robust design, featuring brass connections to increase the strength, reliability, and rigidity of the pump. Anti-vibration hoses also mean that EVE is built to last and helps to keep noise to a minimum.
