ArtiCAD offers raft of services and support to customers during COVID-19 pandemic

eading CAD software specialist and technology innovator for the KBB industry, ArtiCAD, has announced a raft of services aimed to support their customers during these unprecedented times of upheaval and uncertainty. Although all ArtiCAD’s staff are now home
based, for its customers this change of location is absolutely invisible. Contact is via the same phone numbers and email addresses, the opening hours are as normal and the client care and technical services team are on hand to provide exactly the same high level of support as usual. ArtiCAD is providing free temporary licences
for homeworking customers. Anyone wishing to install an ArtiCAD licence on a different machine can take advantage of this offer – and can download as many temporary licences as they need for all their designers.
The company has compiled some hints and
tips for customers working from home – the vast majority whom will be experiencing this for the first time. Theresa Turner, a director of ArtiCAD: “Most of our thousands of customers are used to operating within a showroom environment. Working in isolation from home, perhaps surrounded by family, is clearly an extremely different experience with many challenges. Our hints and tips are designed to help customers be as productive and motivated as possible.” ArtiCAD is also putting together a series of
free skills training webinars, further details of which will be sent to all customers very shortly. Topics will include “Optimising Room Lighting”, “How to price designs” and “Creating stunning ArtiVR presentations”, amongst others. Users of ArtiCAD’s online Room Planner are able to capture qualified leads from their
websites, even if their showroom is closed. Resulting consumer plans and contact details are sent to the retailer via email and can be uploaded directly into ArtiCAD for the retailer to develop a professional design and follow up with the potential customer. Room Planner also works stand alone, for designers not yet using ArtiCAD design software. “Whilst face to face contact with clients is
not possible at the moment, there is still a great deal that our customers can achieve using the power of and flexibility of ArtiCAD technology to keep in touch with their customers, discuss their design ideas and share fully interactive, stunning virtual reality presentations of proposed new rooms.”
