The comprehensive program covers introduction to the folding carton market, production challenges and possibilities with in-line flexo, digital, and hybrid presses, materials developments including barrier coatings, converting technology for cutting, creasing, and folder gluers, and case studies of label converters successfully transitioning to folding cartons. The RFID Technology masterclass will explore the growing importance of RFID technology in the packaging industry, providing insights into implementation and applications. The Automation in Label Production session focuses on the increasing role of automation, covering process automation software and robotics systems, particularly for end-of-line material handling.
A SUSTAINABLE AND ACCESSIBLE EVENT Part of Informa PLC, Labelexpo Europe 2025 already follows a comprehensive guideline applied to event operations, focused on reducing event waste, including the optimized reuse of stands with the Better Stands programme, and adopting renewable energy: this year’s venue even counts an extensive rooftop photovoltaic plant, aligning with the industry’s increasing focus on environmental responsibility.
