Major company announcements from Soyang
New promotions, new products, and a brand-new distribution centre; Soyang Europe announced some major expansions at the start of the new year. Brothers and long-standing staff members, Oliver and Simon Mashiter were given new roles in the firm. Oliver was promoted to sales director, where he will plan targets and set up new systems for customers while his brother, Simon, has taken the position of operations director where he will evaluate the business and identify any areas that can be improved. Soyang also added 18 products to its
portfolio after releasing a new range of self-adhesive vinyl solutions.
The SoStick range has a selection of PVC monomeric and polymeric solutions which will be available to UK and Ireland customers. SoStick monomeric materials are suitable for use in applications including retail graphics, exhibition graphics, POS graphics and short-term indoor graphics.
The polymeric solutions can be used to produce pieces such as signage, vehicle graphics, hoardings, long-term outdoor signage, window graphics and more. The company’s last announcement was the opening of a new branch in Ireland in hopes of reducing delivery delays in the area. The new facility sits just outside Dublin and

will be fully stocked with all Soyang products. Newly appointed John Barnes will oversee the Dublin branch as warehouse manager while managing director Mark Mashiter, sales director, Oliver Mashiter, and Damien Martin will visit Irish customers and discuss their requirements.
Antalis releases new sustainable products
Antalis has launched two new products in its Priplak R30 and ID Wallcovering collection. Priplak R30 is made from polypropylene, recognised as one of the most sustainable plastics available, being made of 30% post-industrial recycled content.
Compared to other plastics, polypropylene offers
key environmental advantages that align with modern sustainability goals. It is available in a white finish in 450 and 750mic thickness and a sheet size of 650x1100mm, making it suitable for a range of uses including POS displays, signage, packaging, tags and labelling, folders and stationery.
Product manager, Paul Neale, said: “The
versatility and sustainable benefits of products like Priplak have resulted in it being one of the most rapidly growing sustainable polymers produced worldwide in recent years.” The company’s other product, the new ID
wallcovering collection, has been designed with customisation in mind.
The collection features a selection of PVC-free,
non-woven wallpapers, aligning with Antalis’ ongoing commitment to environmentally responsible visual communication.
Its materials allow for a thicker, more resistant product, making it less susceptible to wear and tear.
Linney Group expands printing portfolio with Xerox
A UK-based marketing service provider has expanded its premium print capabilities by installing the Xerox Iridesse Production Press. Linney Group’s latest investment underscores its drive to push the boundaries of digital print innovation as the new kit allows the company to deliver high-value, intricate print products efficiently, from luxury packaging and promotional materials to sophisticated marketing collateral and personalised direct mail campaigns.
Company director, Charles Linney, said: “The Xerox Iridesse allows us to expand our creative offering, enabling more impactful and dynamic designs that resonate with our clients. “This investment aligns with our mission to stay ahead of industry trends and deliver exceptional results across all our print solutions.” The printer’s installation will now hope to strengthen Linney Group’s position as a leader in the print industry.
