JCUT JWEI In September CMYUK became the exclusive UK/Ireland distributor of the high-spec, low-cost Chinese-manufactured JWEI JCUT range of digital cutting systems. Available in three bed sizes - 1600mm x 2500mm, 2100mm x 3100mm, 3200mm x 3000mm - the range kicks off at £64,995 for the J-CUT Pro-1625. All the tables come with automatic feeding conveyor, 1800kW liquid cooled router, Auto Tool Changer (ATC), Universal Cutting Tool (UCT), Kiss Cut Tool (KCT), Electric Oscillating Tool (EOT), Crease Wheel Tool (CWT), V-Cut Tool (VCT), and a modularised cutting head that accommodates up to three sets of tool combinations simultaneously. The cutting tables are controlled by OptiScout Vision controller software supported by Rips such as Agfa Asanti, Aurelon PrintFactory, Cadlink, Caldera, ColorGate, EFI, ErgoSoft PosterPrint/ TexPrint, IGEPA MasterRip, Onyx, Pjannto, PosterJet, Prep-it, SAi, and Wasatch.
VK3220T-HS UV FLATBED VANGUARD The first public showing of the Vanguard VK3220T-HS UV flatbed printer was at Fespa Global earlier this year on its booth alongside parent Durst. The 3.2 x 2m flatbed printer - which is based on water- cooled LED curing technology and uses up to three rows of 4 picoliter drop size Kyocera printheads at up to 1800dpi print resolution - runs at up to 360m2/hr. There’s a seven-zone, user-selectable vacuum system, allowing the machine to print on nearly any substrate up to 10cm thick. Other features include auto height detection, one-touch pin registration, and front-to-back and back-to-front printing.
LATEX 630 W HP
With its £16,500 64in-wide Latex 630 W printer HP is promising the smallest PSPs entry to white ink applications. It is one of four models within the new Latex 630 family, which uses HP Pixel Control Technology and has new printhead architecture for sharper small text, all at standard speeds of 14m2/hr. An SAi Rip is offered out of the box. There’s in-printer storage of up to 10GB for easy re-prints.
TRUEVIS AP-640 ROLAND The AP-640 is Roland’s first resin printer. It has a maximum print width of 1625mm and print resolution of 1200dpi, with printheads arranged in a dual, staggered formation with an optimiser printhead that preps the media surface. It uses Greenguard Gold certified TrueVis Resin Inks and comes with VersaWorks 6 Rip software and Roland DG Connect print operation app.
Q-LINE WITH BHS180 ZUND This integrated system - with board handling system and undercam for pallet-to-pallet automation - is intended for the demands of industrial finishing of printed boards for displays and packaging. The Q-Line with BHS180 is available initially as a dual-beam system in three different sizes - the Zund Cutter Q 32-32 D has a working width of 3.2m, the Q 22-32 D a working width of 2.2m, and the Q 18-32 D a working width of 1.8m. In addition to the hardware new Q-Line with BHS180 comprises software, such as the latest Zund Cut Center or the Zund Connect production monitoring and analysing tool.

COLORADO M-SERIES CANON The 1.6m-wide M-series comprises the Colorado M3 and M5, with cruising speeds of 29m²/hr and 40m²/hr, and top speeds of 111m²/hr and 159m²/hr respectively. There’s the option to upgrade from one speed to the other either temporarily or permanently. Both printers can also be easily upgraded to M3W and M5W models with a new Canon UVgel white ink option, as well with FLXfinish+ matte/gloss print technology for CMYK prints. Users can automate the print-to-finish process with a UVgel Print Factory or UVgel Wallpaper Factory configuration. The new printers are supported by the makeready software Prismaguide XL.
